Glendora Animal Control Hosts A Low-Cost Vaccination Clinic, June 15, 2013.

(Glendora, Calif.)- The City of Glendora will offer low cost vaccinations for all community dogs and cats at special “Vaccine-A-Thon” events this year. Rabies vaccinations (required for all dogs under California law) will be priced at $6 each.  A complete selection of other pet vaccinations will also be available at discounted prices.   All Veterinary services are provided by Alosta Animal Hospital in conjunction with The City of Glendora Animal Control.  The June 15th, clinic is set for 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Bandshell at Finkbiner Park located at 160 N. Wabash, Glendora Ca.  Clinics are on a first-come, first served basis.  If you or your pet has special needs, we suggest that you make an appointment with your own veterinarian.  Theses clinics are well attended; be prepared to stand in a long line.  For your own safety and the safety of your pet, make sure your dog is wearing a secure collar and leash and cats are in a secure carrier. State and city ordinances require all dogs four months and older to be vaccinated against rabies.  While rabies has been brought under control among domestic pets through vaccinations, pets are still susceptible to the disease by coming into contact with wildlife.
