The City of Glendora is collecting items to be placed in a time capsule. Be a part of history! Anything that will reflect the year 2011 that has historical significance, such as letters, photos, or small items.
 Collection begins Monday, October 17 – Sunday, November 6, 2011. Please place items in a plastic zip lock bag with your name, address and phone number. Please include any pertinent information regarding items in the bag. Items may be taken to the Community Services Office at City Hall, 116 E. Foothill Blvd., Glendora, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
 Deadline for items to be submitted is Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the Community Carnival at Louie Pompei Memorial Sports Park. Final selection of items to be included will be made by the Glendora Centennial Committee and all donors will be recognized at the ceremony. Time capsule ceremony is Monday, November 14, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Glendora City Hall located at 116 E. Foothill Blvd., Glendora.
